Celebrate the final stretch of summer with The Krush 95.9 and an evening of live Northern California music at Vintage Space inside the Flamingo Resort & Spa.
Headlining the End of Summer Bash are Danny Sorentino & Friends, led by Sonoma County singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player Danny Sorentino. Raised on the adventurous sounds of San Francisco freeform radio, Danny draws inspiration from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Neil Young, garage rock and music with genuine soul. For this special performance, Danny will be joined by an accomplished group of North Bay musicians: Dave Sampson, Gary Silva, Kent Fossgreen and Robert Malta. Sampson is a versatile Bay Area guitarist, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans numerous genres and recording projects. Silva is a veteran drummer steeped in blues and roots music who has performed with artists including Luther Tucker, Big Mama Thornton, Albert Collins and Elvin Bishop. Fossgreen is a longtime Sonoma County bassist known for bringing a melodic sensibility to the rhythm section. Malta is a Sonoma County guitarist, bassist and vocalist with deep roots in the local garage-rock and independent music scenes. Together, they’ll give Danny’s memorable, rock-and-roll-driven songs a distinctive one-night-only lineup. Dave Sampson, Gary Silva, Kent Fossgreen and Robert Malta.
Also appearing is Anna Jae Band, led by Redding-born singer, songwriter and guitarist Anna Jae. Her music pairs candid songwriting with a warm, expressive stage presence. Her catalog includes the 12-song album It Hurt, But I’m Glad I Felt It, along with singles including “Broken” and “Wonder.” With her red acoustic guitar and the energy of a full band behind her, Anna brings heart, personality and an unmistakable sense of joy to the stage. The evening is part of The Krush On the Road, taking the independent spirit of Sonoma County’s Wine Country radio station beyond the airwaves and into local music venues. The Krush 95.9 has a longstanding connection to live music and regional artists through its concerts and community events.
